Yes, definitely. The stomach is lined with a mucus membrane like the intestines, mouth, throat, sinuses, esophagus, etc. This is why " enteric coated " (protective coating that helps keep it intact until it gets into the intestines) products are not helpful for the stomach. " Too little " stomach acid may also be contributing to the problem. This is very common with candida. There's an article in our Files " Stomach Acid Problems & Help. " It gives you a simple test to see if you have " too little " or " too much " stomach acid. The best, Bee

Guest guest
I've been a longtime user of ginger root capsules when my stomach was bothering me. It's also a nice digestive in general.
Guest guest
hi, yet another question, we reached our dose of 12 prx a day on thursday, Kai started complaining of his stomach feeling sore yesterday, he had a dreadful nights sleep, i then gave him his usual dose of 4 prx, 1 nophenol, 1 lysine 500mg, vit c 100mg (low acid/buffered), and candex 1 capsule. Have been out to buy GSE and OLE to add in, but he was complaining bitterly this am after this combo, even after eating, and in fact has just been sent home from school as he is still in pain. I'm assuming that this level of enzyme is irritating his bowel as its the only thing that has changed in the last few days plus the coincedence of timing. My OH is now having a wobbly and is shouting about stomach ulcers etc. Any advice would be appreciated....assuming it is the enzymes. I am going to rest him for 4 days to give his stomach time to recover before dosing him at 3 prx 2x a day and 4 at bedtime which seems to the highest dose he can manage without any comment of irritation. thanks emma
