Guest guest
My son's digestive panel came back. Good news, mostly. No yeast (YAY), no bacterial or viral problems (YAY), no inflammatory problems (YAY). He is *majorly* infested with pinworms and some other parasite they couldn't identify. So he's taking an antiparastic. His anti-gliadin antibodies were way high too, and that's really weird because he's NEVER intentionally eaten gluten (His Dad and I are both gluten-free, so our house is too. No gluten. Ever). Which brings me to the cause of the problems I mentioned in another post. Turns out the l-glutamine I bought is processed on the same line as wheat containing products, and bingo, glutened. In him, glutened = cranky, irrational, miserable, hyper, moody, destructive. However, he started that after the stool sample, so it still doesn't explain the anti-gliadin antibodies. A mystery, for sure. So, we'll get back on the DMG in a couple more days, when he's had more time to recover, and then a week, then inulin, another week and then glutamine. Then we test for metals. What a journey!
