Guest guest
Hi! my son for two days has had one little spit up, on the school bus, and two full on vomit episodes, and has no loss of appetite, no fever, lots of energy. i had been treating for yeast with GSE, i noticed more phlegm, post nasal drip stuff which could contribute. he has a hair trigger gag reflex as it is. i have also noticed a lot of air swallowing forcing burps, and a swallow/exhale thing that makes me think of Acid reflux, i heard him do that once in his sleep last night. i just wanted some opinions/insight. and experience on if it is acid reflux, what the big causes are and what helps, and why it would flare up after 3 years of biomed. Guest guest
I have heard GSE causing reflux in some people. I would try switching to something else to see if it goes away. I never have reflux, but the first few times I took GSE (I take tablets) I did get a weird churning feeling in my stomach. I'm not sure if it's the yeast dying or the GSE causing some kind of a GI stir-up. I was on it for at least a month and didn't have any problems after that, but I have a strong stomach. :-) On Wed, Dec 10, 2008 at 11:15 AM, Libby <libbysamuele@...>wrote: > Hi! my son for two days has had one little spit up, on the school bus, and > two full on vomit episodes, and has no loss of appetite, no fever, lots of > energy. i had been treating for yeast with GSE, i noticed more phlegm, post > nasal drip stuff which could contribute. he has a hair trigger gag reflex as > it is. i have also noticed a lot of air swallowing forcing burps, and a > swallow/exhale thing that makes me think of Acid reflux, i heard him do that > once in his sleep last night. i just wanted some opinions/insight. and > experience on if it is acid reflux, what the big causes are and what helps, > and why it would flare up after 3 years of biomed. Guest guest
Personally I've had yeast die-off that made me throw up. I was using GSE at the time and switched to other things (caprylic acid, biotin, and others). I still get really nauseous from yeast die-off. This might be a sign to slow down with killing yeast. This could just be where the yeast is or how some people react. I've heard that yeast can be high up in the intestines for some people and even in the stomach, so maybe it is more likely to come out as vomit that way? -Sierra > > Hi! my son for two days has had one little spit up, on the school > bus, and two full on vomit episodes, and has no loss of appetite, no > fever, lots of energy. i had been treating for yeast with GSE, > > > Try dropping the GSE and use biotin instead, or OoO, see if that helps. > > Dana >
