Guest guest
I haven't done HBOT, but have been using a FIR sauna with my son for almost two years now. Great for detox. I have posted quite a bit on it in the past. In the web view, search the message archive for Sauna and you will find some threads worth reading. > > > Hi there, > > Does anyone have experience with HBOT and be willing to chat with me more about it off the group? I'm also considering getting an infared sauna. Any one else try this and anyone do both?? Any and all info./feedback would be appreciated. > > Thanks, Casandra > > > > @...: johnski@...: Sun, 2 Nov 2008 20:45:12 +0000Subject: GF in land - good news > > > > FRESH BAGELS, SOFT PRETZELS AND MORE ARE NOW AVAILABLE LOCALLY IN FREDERICK, MARYLAND AT BB'S BAGELS & BREADS CAFÉwww.AllergyGrocer.com has partnered with BB's Bagels & Breads Bakery/Café in Frederick, land to begin selling their Gluten-Free, Allergy-Friendly soft pretzels, bagels, & more at BB's Cafe. It stands to reason that there may be synergistic effects - each modality making the other more effective. Some docs think sauna-HB would be the better sequence, others think the other way. I'd love to see some studies done. I personally think MHBOT followed by sauna makes most sense. I've communicated about this to: several DAN! docs, to other healthcare professionals, and to hyperbaric researchers - and here are a few snippets of our conversations: From me: " … using sauna post HB should increase O2 transport to cells due to capillary dilation and increased blood flow, while mediating some heat stress factors due to more bio-available O2. " This is from a person who oversees several clinics treating mostly cancer and Lyme disease, on the " combined therapy " of MHBOT & sauna: " All pathogens hate heat, pressure and Oxygen. In the very least, we are providing an environment that is non-conducive for pathogen proliferation. " From a researcher: " I have been doing research only for almost 5 years now …. I have a positive impression about the possible benefits of both sauna and low-pressure HBOT in autism. I base this on what I am learning from other clinicians whose powers of observation I tend to trust. Combined IRS/HBOT may be a pretty good idea.
