Guest guest
Sorry - guess the executive statement didn't go through! Here it is: Executive Summary Glow Kids, Inc. was established to create and use entertaining cartoon characters to teach children about health and nutrition. To date we have 24 cartoon characters and have published our first coloring book and primer for school children. The two primary characters are Harmonyâ„¢ and Halo®. While doing research related to the start-up of a wellness company for children we discovered a market in desperate need of immediate attention: Autistic Children. Autistic children face a wide variety health hardships and challenges that affect their daily lives and can drastically impact their families: • Growth & Nutrition î º digestive system dysfunctions and other physical problems • Speech & Communication î º difficulty relating to and interacting with others • Behavior & Development î º specialized education requirements Because of their digestive problems, many autistic children are on intense nutritional support regimes that call for daily supplementation with a wide variety of products. They require special diets and food products that can be time-consuming to locate and purchase. Many cannot be toilet trained and therefore need over-sized diapers and other special care products. Add to that the need for special education, and the typical family of an autistic child can spend upwards of $2,000 / month to care for their child. Many parents of autistic children read the latest research, books and news articles related to the causes and treatments of autism in their quest to provide the very best care they can for their special children. Almost every day new research is published; it provides these families with crucial information with regard to causes of and treatments for autism. There are many fine organizations providing information and resources, nutriceutical companies providing supplements, and there are numerous sources for personal care and food products. However, to date, there is no one source for: • Supplements and nutritional products • Specialized food products • Personal care products • Information, research and legislative actions • Books and magazines Glow Kids® is seeking investors and advisors to bring our vision to be a One-Source Resourceâ„¢ on the World Wide Web for families of autistic children. It is not our intention to compete with any of the existing organizations or companies; it is our intention to partner with the better resources and link them all together on our website so that these parents and caretakers can order products for their children with one shopping cart and also have access to the latest research and publications they need. Due to the financial hardship many of these families must endure, we want to create a simple marketing program so they can earn revenues to offset their monthly expenditures. This program will work as a referral for the Glow Kids wellness program products, not the One-Source Resourceâ„¢ products for the special needs children. It is our belief that these products should be offered at the lowest possible prices and therefore commissions would not be feasible. We are looking into the feasibility of metabolic testing for these children so that their nutritional supplements are custom-made for them. No two people have the exact same nutritional requirements, and the same is true for autistic children. The technology to accomplish this is readily available. If you would like to be involved in making life better for hundreds of thousands of children, please contact: Margery Phelps 859 Scales Road Suwanee, GA 30024 770-932-3804 marge@...
