Just mention my experience altho I haven't been dx w fibromyalgia. My

friend was, and after having Drs give her up to 6 Rx at a time and making

her sick w side effects , she went to see a naturopath/nutritionist who put

her on about 20 supplements and a work out training schedule 3 times a week

with a trainer. she said it was hard the first 6 mos but you should see her

now. She looks and feels like a million bucks. She has cut the supps down to

just a few now.

For myself, I have tendonitis in my ankles - you know the kind like older

women get sometimes where the ankles swell terribly and you can't get the

swelling down? It started years ago after a foot surgery where I stressed

the other foot and ankle and I've never gotten over it. Its awful and no

amount of massage, soaking, low-salt diet, nothing was making a difference.

I went to 2 Drs who I trust and their advice ranged from nothing can be done

because the only way to relieve the inflammation is to stop walking for

months to relieve the stress on the tendons and the other one said it was

fluid retention and to stop eating salt..

welll ....fast forward to a fews months ago. I was reading the Enzymedica

website for something and came across this product called Repair, a very

potent protease that is supposed to chop up proteins that cause inflammation

in the tissues. My dau has now been dx with an autoimmune disorder that Dr

told me nothing could be done for. Yes - a Ped Endo says there is nothing

that can be done. So I 've been trying to learn more about auto-immune

disorders which seem to begin with inflammatory processes in the body - so

the question was how to reduce inflammation for both of us? My ankles are

an outward sign but what about the rest of me? I tried it and it has been

amazing. The first day I only took 2 caps on an empty stomach at bedtime

and my feet, ankles and joints were so painful for 2 days I could barely

walk but I drank a lot of water and seemed to rinse myself out because by

day 3 my ankle swelling went down and I could get out of bed with no foot

and ankle pain. I used to hobble around every morning for a few minutes

while I limbered up but this morning I ran without pain. I haven't ever

gotten to the doses on the bottle - I'm just taking 2 caps at bedtime on an

intermittent basis and it has made a major difference. So i started reading

about inflammatory processes on Dr Leo Galland's website which I highly

recommend to anyone including adults and kids w developmentall delays. I

am really finding that his dietary recommendations work also. I have thyroid

disease and now so does my 11 yr old - which is an inflammatory problem.

Also I have had arthritis for almost 15 yrs, which is actually not

occurring right now since I started thinking about inflammation as being the

cause of my body issues and changing the fats I'm eating and some other recs

he has made. The Repair has not cured everything in fact my ankles are

swollen this morning but I haven't taken it for days and we ate beef for

dinner last night which I have a hard time digesting. Repair is expensive

like all Enzymedica products but it has worked like nothing else I have

ever tried. I think it really does break down tissue stored toxins that

need to be flushed out. I also started taking L-glutamine for leaky gut and

I'm amazed at what a diff that has made. 2 Drs now have told me that is the

most important amino acid you can take to help heal leaky gut. It was very

constipating at first but then things began to normalize. Obviously if

leaky gut is part of anyones problem they are going to have inappropriate

proteins escaping the intestinal tract into the bloodstream and causing

problems elsewhere.

hope this helps -
