For us whenever our son starts doing this we double the dose of cod liver oil

and it goes away in a few days... I am assuming it is the added vitamin A that

reduces the eye stims.

Hi,

My son has started looking out of the sides of his eyes again - it has been a

few years, and now started again - sadly. I forgot what to do when they look out

of the side of their eyes, and can't look at you without doing it. Also has

slowed down on his processing time for answering and responding.

Is it a B deficiency or yeast?

We are on SCD, and are finally having solid BM's, so I don't want to change diet

if I can help it.

Thanks,

Susi

At my house, that visual stim was caused by viruses, B vitamin deficiency

[especially B12], and yeast overgrowth.

Thanks Dana, we do mB12 shots every day - I'm thinking yeast? I stopped the OoO

because someone told me to go no longer than 2 weeks on it - but I started it

again today, I think it will be ok for a month of straight use.

Hi Susi,

Forgive me if someone already suggested this earlier, I didn't see it on the

posts but just incase..

If it is yeast, have you considered having him trying an enzyme to manage the

yeast overgrowth? A high potency cellulase formula should do it. When I've

needed to take a product like this in the past, like Candidase because of too

much yeast, it's never affected my BM's, so I would think your son would be fine

with this, since you mentioned his diet was working well for that. I hope this

helps you guys out!

We are suddenly having this problem also big time. I did double the CLO two

days ago but the visual stims are still there.

Yes, B12 caused a lot of yeast overgrowth here.

You can give it for longer than 2 weeks.
