foul smelly mucusy malabsorption loose stools

Hi,

My 21 month old has had poop as described in the subject line for

a few weeks. It looks like the food isn't being broken down much

before it comes out. He was pooping up to 5 times a day, and

constantly leaking out of his diaper because it was so mucusy. Does

anyone know what these symptoms may point to? I have an appt with a gi

specialist next week, and we had some allergy testing done which turned

out to be negative. Any insight would be appreciated.

Digestive enzymes can help with the " food not broken down " part.

Mucus is usually associated with food intolerance [not allergy], or

yeast overgrowth.
