New York State Hey , get thyself over the other group! Sounds like their immune systems are compromised. Are they vaccinated? Do they for sure have strep - throat culture? Strep is all around us and in our throats. It doesn't cause strep throat - it is the result of immune system problems - as is the case will all bacterial infections. Guest guest
Yes they have it for sure, tests and tests upon tests. Seems like whenever I talk to them they are going for a strep test and they come back positive most of the time, only a couple of times they didn't. Yes they are all vaccinated except the baby who has it on her behind. Guest guest
HI - I am trying to locate a post about strep and having the quick test come back negative only to have it be postive 3 days later after it was sent in. There was some info in that email I was interested in. Does this mean there is strep in my son's system all the time that can be contributing to OCD behaviors??? Thanks Carolyn

I can't answer your specific question about the test. PANDAS is a post-strep condition that can cause OCD. I eliminated strep at my house with olive leaf extract.
