Guest guest
I have found the best thing for an ear ache is about 10 drops of hydrogen peroxide in the ear 2-3x day. If it is an infection or just fluid, it really helps to heal it very quickly. I have had fluid on the ear personally that feels just as bad if not worse than an ear infection. Not like him at all. At first I just suspected yeast die-off - the crankiness, rubbing his tongue with his hand alot and tons of drooling today. Lately, I'd been noticing some " yeasty " behaviors, so yesterday we started with probiotics (Nature's Way Primadophilus Jr - 3 billion) three times per day. I gave him another dose at breakfast before all this crying started. When it started, I thought it was die-off and was prepared to just wait it out. But now, he's asked to be put in my bed, so he's laying here with his eyes closed and just sobbing and he's started swatting at his right ear. - I can tell he's miserable. But no fever. I have motrin in the house, but since he has no fever, I'm not sure I should go that route? What can I do for his ear that will give his some relief? I'm looking for something that I can just go buy off the shelf and not have to order online.... We have a health food / supplement store and a Whole Foods pretty close. THANKS! Guest guest
What has worked on my youngest, said it felt good, is mullein garlic ear oil. Little bottle with a dropper. I've had it a while, exp 7/11. Mine made by Equinox Botanicals, sure others out there. My oldest had it once, the PPD-NOS guy, he said it felt good too. My oldest also had chronic ear infections and honestly looking back, I think yeast was a huge part of the chronic fluid. Also had a yeast issue in privates and no matter what I used, he never looked good. My second child, no issues. Anyway....go slow introducing probiotics, make sure no reactions from that. Adding digestive enzymes of course. And check out Brainchild Nutritionals for their nature yeast program. Easy liquid to add to drinks. Good luck! At my house, this would mean that the yeast was leaving the body thru the ears. Try increasing the yeast protocol by adding some biotin and/or GSE. You can also try adding some magnesium. Garlic mullein in the ears is a good option also. Dana
