Guest guest
Once again I am reporting severe die off reaction to grapefruit seed extract. I took several large doses - 30-40 + drops daily for 3 days and now have pneumonia. Please nobody tell me how to start slow - I followed the instructions on the bottle. I am taking a heavy duty antibiotic - Levaquin and using inhalers from the days when I had asthma because my breathing is impaired. I formally stopped having asthma after I worked on yeast and bacteria in my body. Apparently its back. Of course anyone could argue that GSE was not the cause but since every time I've taken a large dose of GSE I've gotten a respiratory infection reaction I am pretty sure thats what it is. My question is about what and where this problem is coming from. Do you think its in my GI tract or in some other tissue area? My personal physician recommends using Alpha Lipoic acid to mop up the free radicals that are released from die off. So should I also use charcoal and when would I take that? I have stopped the GSE for now of course as I can't afford to be this sick. Thanks for any thoughts and commentary
