Guest guest
Hi Patty, I work for Enzymedica's education department. If you visit their website enzymedica.com they 3 really good products I would recommend. They are: Candidase, ProBio, and Virastop. Feel free to ask me any questions. You can even chat live on the website. Hope this helps. Alessandra

My question - is it common for some people to experience lots of gas and looser bowel movements when they first start taking a digestive enzyme product? Enzymedica's Digest had too much probiotics in it for me and I couldn't tolerate it. am now trying another product and am a little nervous about having the same problem, but this one has no probiotics. Has anyone else had this problem when they started on enzymes or they started their kids on them? I have some major digestive stuff going on right now and am desperate. Thanks PP in Wisc. Guest guest
Hi Dana and all, Have you tried using Nizoral (Azole (Systemic)) to treat yeast/fungal before treating it with biotin and GSE? In treating yeast for a 4yr old child with moderate high yeast issues (lab works says my son is just high in Arabinose) and moderate high bacterial issues (only high in HPHPA) with good liver function , what would be the factors to consider in going the prescriptions vs the natural/supplementations route? Thanks! -Beth danasview <danasview@...> wrote: > > Can someone recommend a good treatment for yeast overgrowth? At my house, biotin and GSE. No, I did not use any rx anti-fungals. I never used rx. I think that I would only consider rx if the naturals were not effective. Dana
Guest guest
I agree with Dana, I wouldn't use prescription unless you just couldn't get it to go away using natural antifungals. I used prescription and I used natural, and for us, the prescription ones just emptied out his gut of bad AND good stuff, and made him weak and pale, and then all the bad stuff came back when we stopped giving them. Rotating natural antifungals was the approach we used. This approach finally really turned the corner on the yeast for us. Also, the naturals are so much gentler that you can keep doing them, on and off, or once in awhile, to keep it gone, and no big die off, so my son stayed really healthy while doing it. Anyhow, we designed a Natural Candida program at BrainChild based on how I did it, using some wonderful, low-phenol yeast fighters, such as our own Pau D'Arco and Oregon Grape, plus Garlic and powerful BioCidin. If you need a really easy way to do this, with worksheets to help you figure out what to give and when, please take a look at our Yeast Fighting Program. You can find the program and products at: http://www.brainchildnutritionals.com/prod_yeastx.html Hope this is helpful, Terri at BrainChild mom to Zane, 14yo high functioning autistic > > > > Hi Dana and all, > > Have you tried using Nizoral (Azole (Systemic)) to treat > yeast/fungal before treating it with biotin and GSE? > > > No, I did not use any rx anti-fungals. > > > >>In treating yeast for a 4yr old child with moderate high yeast > issues (lab works says my son is just high in Arabinose) and moderate > high bacterial issues (only high in HPHPA) with good liver function , > what would be the factors to consider in going the prescriptions vs > the natural/supplementations route? > > > I never used rx.
