My son did best with straight L-carnitine, not the acetyl version, so you can

try that if you want. Also, carnitine tends to increase yeast, so you might

want to increase the yeast protocol, see if that helps.

Acetyl is supposedly more bio-available, but it did not work out that way here.

Hi, Many thanks to Dana for the advice on yeast. That may be happening...I

wouldn't have thought of that without your suggestion.

Acetyl-L--Carnitine is the acetyl ester form of L-Carnitine. It claims to have

better bioavailability than L-Carnitine.
