At my house, humming meant yeast overgrowth.

Scripting/echoing was eliminated with anti-virals [vitamin C and

lysine] and mB12/TMG/folic/carnitine.

My son's scripting is thru the roof. He memorizes his favorite videos

then repeatedly reinacts them over and over again all do long. DAN doc

told us that it is a viral issue but we are not on most of the supps

that you listed. He is on MB12 shots and TMG. Vit C tends to increase

his hand flapping to the point that he almost falls over.

At my house, this was eliminated with anti-virals [OLE, Virastop,

vitamin C, lysine] and mB12/TMG/folic/carnitine. Yeast control was

also required.

If he does not tolerate corn, use a vitamin C that is not made from

corn [most are]. And, as vitamin C addresses viruses, it will tend to

cause a LOT of yeast, so it is likely you need to increase your yeast

protocol. Biotin and GSE worked well at my house. More ideas here

B-12, TMG, can cause yeast issues and vitamin C works on getting viruses out and

that also tends to increase yeast issues.That is why the flapping is worse on

vita-C. L-carnitine and folic are needed with B-12 and TMG to help the body

absorb it. Lysine is for treating virals and Olive leaf extract is also a good

anti-viral. Anytime you use an anti-viral, also treat the yeast. My son scripts

really bad and loud without B-12, TMG, L-carnitine, Folic Acid, biotin (for

yeast) and Olive leat extract (for virals).

Sure, Start off with a low dose. Most kids can take 5-10mg to start off with. My

kids are up to 20 mg a day and doing fine. Giving too much can cause a headache

so that is one way to know.

-I've had her on 15mcg a day now for about 3 weeks. Her yeast is

still bad and I started giving each dose with magnesium to make sure

it's absorbed. I just want to make sure I can raise it a bit. I don't

know if she has headaches because she can't tell me. Is there a way

to tell by behaviour? Thanks so much.

I think Dana has said that with headaches they will bang there heads or hit at

their heads with their fists. You are on a pretty low dose so I am pretty sure

you could raise your quite a bit. Biotin is really safe!

Oh wow, she does hit her chin occasionally, I thought that was from

yeast! I will watch her now, she's not doing it today and I gave her

one and a half Biotins this morning.

This is a really tiny dose. USRDA is 400mcg. You can certainly

consider increasing it.

Crying, head banging, hitting head, pulling ears [this last one can

also mean yeast].
