Guest guest
It is most likely yeast die off...but it could be that he can't tolerate the grapfruit seed oil. Start giving activated charcoal twic a day away from other supplements...you can open the capsule and mix it in food or drink. It has no taste but it will make the food black. I just told my daughter we were having mud milkshakes. I mixed it with coconut milk ice cream...a no no for yeast detox because of the sugar. If you can mix it with something lower in sugar I'd do that. If the symptoms don't get better within four days or so it's probably the grapefruit seed oil. You can also give epsom salt baths once a day to help with the die off.
Guest guest
The thing I'm not sure about is his very loose stools. They are always loose anyway but are now at major leaking nappy situation. Is this likely to be due to die off or am I on wrong track and need to look at what he's eating again? Hi When my son went through his first anti-yeast protocol I had a similar experience - his stools were dark and liquid. It was pretty yucky but did settle. Can't remeber how long it took but sure it was less than a week. Hang in there!
Guest guest
I have heard of kids getting diareah from yeast die off... mine didn't. More likely that's from the grapefruit seed oil... it totally causes diareah. Maybe give a little less and see if it helps with the leaky nappies
Guest guest
Thanks for your replys. It always gives me the confidence to carry on. We do the epsom salts baths but not every day so I can easily increase that Thanks again Alison On 25 June 2010 05:20, Les <lesburleson@...> wrote: > > > I have heard of kids getting diareah from yeast die off... mine didn't. > More likely that's from the grapefruit seed oil... it totally causes > diareah.
