Guest guest
> I don't know what else to do. My son's progress is cyclic. He starts coming back, gains a few words (he actually gained over 40 words in 2 weeks back in April), then he loses it all again and we're back to square one. Every few months we see improvement and become hopeful only to watch Colin dissapear again a few weeks later. Right now he has no words. I don't see anti-virals in your list. Anti-virals were one of the most important supplements my son needed for speech. The other things he needed for speech are listed here http://www.danasview.net/issues.htm Dana

Guest guest
Dana, Thanks for your attention to my message and so many others. I don't know how you have the time to respond to each of us so thoroughly but it is greatly appreciated. I'll follow your plan and we'll see what happens! Sissy Re:Question for Dana > We used the high dose vitamin A protocol 2 years ago with absolutely no effect. His DAN! doc just told us to cut back on the CLO because his serum vitamin A is too high. High dose vitamin A is good to eliminate measles virus. If you have high serum vitamin A, then it did eliminate the measles virus. Once my son was rid of measles virus, and his body converted carotenes [which required several supplements], I was no longer able to give any supplemental vitamin A. >>This would seem to indicate that we aren't dealing with a viral issue. I did high dose vitamin A protocol. It eliminated measles virus and maybe others. Then I did OLE/Virastop, which eliminated even more viruses. Then I added high dose vitamin C, which pulled out even more viruses. Then I did high dose lysine, which eliminated even more viruses. Don't stop at just the vitamin A. >>We tried virastop and Kirkman's enzymes and my son got such a bad rash and fever that we had to stop. It lasted for 2 weeks until we stopped the enzymes. He was literally ripping his skin apart from the itching and crying nonstop. We tried to add virastop back in a week ago and my son became very aggressive and agitated so I stopped it again. I did almost 2 years of OLE before I added Virastop. Try OLE, vitamin C, and lysine for a while, before trying Virastop. >>I'm considering doing the vitamin A protocol again but am hesitant since my son's vitamin A levels are high. I don't want to overdose him. Based on my son's experience, don't do it again. He doesn't need it. > Interestingly, the burst of speech back in April began immediately after I started giving him Kirkman enzymes with each meal. After a couple of weeks the progress leveled off and then he began regressing again even though I was still giving him the enzymes. What the heck does that mean? The enzymes addressed one issue but not others. Dana

Guest guest
thanks Dana at first I thought it was the antifungal that's causing the loose stools but when I stopped lysine he became constipated again, and when I gave it back he has loose stools again. Currently I'm giving my boys with antifungal (Threelac), virastop, lysine (500mg 1x a day) ,biotin. Thanks again Dana danasview <danasview@...> wrote: > > > What kind of Carnitine do you recommend? Guest guest
Dana: I thought I remember reading somewhere on your site a couple of months ago that you gave one of your children something that helped with the constant pacing and moving around. My son paces continually and has such a hard time being still. Any recommendations? Thanks, Sharon

Guest guest
> > Are these canker sores that erupt spontaneously or after certain foods? I get canker sores every time I eat strawberries (like 5 sores to 1 strawberry) and then I also periodically get one or two without reason. Mouth sores on the inside of the lips were viral and eliminated with lysine. Mouth sores on the tongue [looked wart-like] were caused by food intolerance. So it depends on what type of mouth sores you have. Dana
