Hello! Im trying the enzyme route with my 11 yo AS son. He eats mostly carbs &

processed foods, and I wanted to know if zycarb would be a good start for him.

He also has anxiety. Also can you explain about the phenol issue w/ fruit, and

how no-phenol helps? Does Zycarb have no-phenol? I know when my son eats alot of

grapes/peaches, he gets loose stools...Im trying to make sense of all this. I

did read both books by Defelice(sp), but still need guidance. Thank you so

much!!!

No-Fenol helps the body process phenolic compounds. I have info here

Not sure what zycarb has, but we use TriEnza for a complete digestive enzyme

with no-phenol in it. I also give my son no-phenol when having phenolic foods.

You should look into Feingold diet and learn more about artificial

preservatives, colors and flavors, MGS, nitrates and sulfites. Processed foods

are loaded with them. They could be contributing to your son's anxiety.
