Guest guest
I get the symptoms you describe with the LIQUID Diflucan - yuk. The tablet Diflucan I have absolutely no problems. don't know which one you were on. By the way, its me, Jeannine (MisTick) - for some reason I had to get a diff identity to post even tho I receive the digest, it wouldn't let me on as MisTick or any of my normal aliases. Hope you all are well out there. Jeannine
Guest guest
Hi All, Our DAN started my almost 4 yr old son on Nystatin for his yeast. His tests said there is " moderate yeast overgrowth " . Its been 7 weeks since we started and no improvement. He is very spacey and giggling and screaming inappropriately. We saw a burst in language when we started MB12 shots and he really seemed " NT " , but after introducing Nystatin, he seems to have gone back to pre MB12 stage. His other supplements are SuperNu Thera, DPPIV enzym complete(Kirkman labs) witmeals, probiotics, Coromega fish oil, Cal-Mag supplement. I have stopped Nystatin now, how do I treat his yeast, please advice. Thanks! CS.
Guest guest
I was wondering if anyone has tried Klaire Factor 4 for yeast. I heard it works really well and our DAN told us to try it. My child was bouncing off the walls and extremely hyper from this probiotic, and was curious if anyone else had the same experience... and why?? Also, for some of you who experience hyperactivity in your children, check the ingredients of your supplements. We use Idebenone (active form of COQ10), and my kids like the sweet taste and take it without problems, but some of the sweeteners and preservatives made my son hyper... when I started researching the ingredients in the supplements and making changes, his hyper really decreased.... just a thought. Guest guest
there's also a cheap generic on vitacost called candida yeast management. greg > > From: margretdzn@... <margretdzn@...> > Subject: Re:Yeast Treatment > candidiasis > Date: Saturday, November 28, 2009, 8:23 AM > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Â > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Candex and Ness are the two that I use and think they are the BEST...... > > they were originally recommended to me by my nutritionist, but I continue t > > o use them on my own........you can buy them online...... .I know Whole > > Foods carries the Candex too..... > > > > Blessings, Margaret > > " We are not held back by the love we didn't receive in the past, but by > > the love we're not extending in the present. Guest guest
Thanks Margaret, essentially Vitacost is not saving you since it is half strength. I noticed that sort of discrepancy in there own brand of D-ribose versus Jarrow's. I am going to get over my bronchitis first ( taking a drug) then try the Candex. Doug From: margretdzn@... <margretdzn@...> Subject: Re:Yeast Treatment candidiasis Date: Monday, November 30, 2009, 10:15 AM Â yes, on Vitacost, it's called NSI Candida Yeast Management-- -same EXACT ingredients as Candex, only 1/2 strength, so instead of 2, you should take 4...... I bought it in my search for " cost effectiveness " , but haven't used it yet, probably start in a week or so........ I'll probably use it up then switch back to Candex, as if it's not broken, don't fix it---I like the convenience of 1-2 capsules AM/PM rather than doubling it, and if you google Candex, you can find it at not a lot higher price than this is...... Guest guest
That is incorrect. The dosage is the same. On candex, it lists one serving as 4 pills while yeast management lists one serving as 2 pills, hence half the number of enzymes. 120 candex pills are $45, while 240 NSI are $30. Twice the pills, 2/3's the price. Therefor each pill is the same, yet 1/3 the price from NSI. Guest guest
These enzymes do work to some extent. It still is just symptom relief. The enzymes eat away at the cellular membrane of the candida eventually killing it in the gut. It does not address the systemic issue. You may kill off the candida overgrowth in the gut, but it will come back eventually from the candida that is everywhere else in the body. Guest guest
Well, of course I follow diet. I think it's a consensus here that that is a must. I am also taking your probiotics. I'm on the 3rd canister of latero and second bottle of 100+. I have not been seeing much of a change from that. Candex has not solved my problem, which is obvious as I am still on this board, but it does symptoms more so than pretty much any other product I have taken. So what is missing according to you? MMS? A re-set? greg > > These enzymes do work to some extent. It still is just symptom relief. > The enzymes eat away at the cellular membrane of the candida eventually killing it in the gut. Guest guest
Greg, give it a little more time. You need a few months on these probiotics. A ton of years of candidiasis damage will not be resolved in 1 month of good probiotics. Have you had fool allergy / sensitivity testing? like Alcat? or igG4? carmen ________________________________ From: dreaminginnoother <dreaminginnoother@...> candidiasis Sent: Wed, December 2, 2009 2:14:45 PM Subject: Re: Yeast Treatment Well, of course I follow diet.
