Guest guest
Shaking! I have that too. I tend to shake under stressful situations...to were it looks like i'm going to fall down. I can't stand it. It's like my knees are ready to go out, they have a wobble. I also have a low tremble when I hold out my feet or hands steady. it's annoying. Is there anything I can do for that? or take? it's just low grade, and not really noticable to others, except in the mornings when I drive and in a hurry...my foot bounces off the pedal for the first minute...it's like annoying!! I just re=position the chair closer, so I don't have it...later as I relax, and am not rushiing to get somewhere, I don't do it. christina on 11/19/05 6:33 PM, elizabethtbd@... at elizabethtbd@... wrote: after 5 weeks doxy followed by 2 weeks flaygl i went into severe herx siezures and parkinson syndrom that lasted for months after stopping the meds.we had tried to cut the dosage back but the slightest die off was now more than my body couls bare.i was misdiagnosed many years.still have high levels of pain and fatigue.my walk still isnt the same and I tend to shake sometimes during high stress or frustration. All symptoms that were here before treatment are still there plus new ones. beth
Guest guest
Hi and beth, My husband and I both had that and we used provigil and co q10. I still use the co q10 and no longer have the shaking for some time now. Guest guest
Not sure if it is the same thing you are experiencing, but I have Myoclonus. It causes pretty severe jerking/flapping/shaking when it is active. My last episode was in early October; it took a trip to the ER and IV Ativan to stop it. Here is a link to a site with good info about movement disorders, hope it helps. http://www.wemove.org/myo/ Bill If You Don't Know What To Do...Don't Do Anything [ ] Re: shakiness Hi and beth, My husband and I both had that and we used provigil and co q10. Guest guest
At first my dr. thought it was meds, but it happened again after I stopped the suspect meds (levaquin and elavil). It has been one of the numerous symptoms of lyme I have had. I experienced multiple times in 2003. Guest guest
Is the person who wrote and said she had shakiness on DLPA?with the shakiness on DLPA? Maybe it's a side effect(nervousness, as stated below). This was included in the information about DLPA.... Safety Forms of phenylalanine can cause symptoms of over-stimulation in some people, such as insomnia and nervousness, although DLPA is generally less stimulating than L-phenylalanine. On occasion people report headaches or nausea from taking DLPA. Certain people should avoid all forms of phenylalanine supplements, such as anyone with high blood pressure and women who are pregnant or lactating. Phenylalanine should not be used by anyone taking MAO inhibitor antidepressants-combining phenylalanine and MAO inhibitors can lead to dangerously high blood pressure. Children, anyone with psychosis, and those suffering from malignant melanoma or the condition known as phenylketonuria, a genetic disorder of phenylalanine metabolism, should also not take phenylalanine supplements.
