Guest guest
Stupid question what does lysine taste like if you can’t swallow capsules and have to grind it up. Guest guest
I just opened my Solaray L-Lysine 500 mg capsule and tasted the powder. I don't think the taste would be too hard to hide, but I only tasted a fingertip of it. It is kind of bitter. It isn't something that will do well in water. I've dumped the entire capsule in to Naked or Odwalla brand fruit juice and lemonade for my son without any problems. Pam > > > > What dosage lysine for a 30lb 2yo? My #4 developed a wart, and also one of her eyes got really red and goopy and inflamed. I had to reduce the dose, because her eye hurt so bad. So if your daughter " looks awful " , try reducing the dose, and watch for yeast. Dana
Guest guest
Hi , My boy is 12 and I give him 2 x 1000 mg in the morning and two separate doses of 1000 mg in afternoon and evening with vitamine C and I do have a slight rash on the buttocks and close to the anus, he showed the same symptoms on Virastop but my company has run out of it right now, I will pulse Virastop in when it is available. Not weird, viruses can cause sleep problems. Since you are noticing a small difference, but not major, try increasing one of the doses to 500mg, see if you notice anything. Guest guest
If you research on the internet, you should be able to find a large amount of information concerning Viruses(herpes) autism and lysine. You can also find some information at danasview.net. Although I am still in research mode, I decided to go ahead withthis protocol becuase of the information I have read so far and the experiences posted on this list. Guest guest
> > hey dana > what is lycine and what does it do? Lysine is an amino acid. It eliminates herpes virus. >> how much would you give as your > starting dose and what did you finsih with I started with 250mg per day. The highest dose I gave was 3000mg 3x per day. Viral die off tends to cause a LOT of yeast, so watch for that. Dana
Guest guest
> I was on a Webinar the other night and it was mentioned that B6, biotin and ALA required lysine for " proper function " . I'm not looking for an anti-viral, but was wondering if i needed to add this in. I never heard this before. For my son, lysine was one of the supps that was required for him to properly absorb calcium. [it also eliminated herpes virus, which my son was full of.] I have not heard of the others tho. Guest guest
Ok this is probably what I was told. I new my old DAN had mentioned some amino for B6. so, it doesn't need lysine. I have a friend whose child (8 years 64 pounds) got increased language with B6 (500mg) + mag cit (300mg). The problem is he also got really hyper. I was thinking maybe it was the amino. Do you think perhaps folinic? Or maybe just the B vit feeding yeast? She lowered to 350mg + 500mg GABA 2x per day 6 out of 7 days (per pfeiffer), he is no longer hyper but he has now lost the language gains. He has also started runny nose and drooling. Any suggestions? he will begin ACE (low green cal/mag and high green sodium/pot Mom is taking temps) then we will start AC chelation.
