it can be, but also can bought over the counter. the pancreatin does not work

like plant based enzymes. it's a pH issue. pancreat. works best in duodenum.

doesn't do anything to predigest food in stomach like plant enzymes. so

therefore it does nothing to alleviate the work of digestion of the pancreas.

it does work on inflammation.

May I ask what brand you think your having problems with ? linda rn

After two years of enzymes, my son had problems also. I removed them

and he was fine. This was mid-way thru chelation tho, so at that

point his food issues were gone.
