My son is currently taking fluconazole and I want to start giving him GSE,

biotin, as a rotation. I also want to start OLE and lysine as per Dana's

protocol. What should I start with first and how much and what brands should I

use and should I use powder or liquid forms, does it matter? The other yeast med

that we rotate sproax makes him get quite sick ans takes a long time to recover

about ten days and when he is sick he does not want to eat. He is almost three

and weighs 24lbs when he is feeling good appetite is good but he does not absorb

food well. I am thinking of switching from digest gold to trienza Houston labs

as I am still getting undigested food in his stool. I want to make sure I get

the right products I have spent $$ buying products that were not appropriate.

I have seen many doctors and have a Dan but yet still feel like I am doing this

alone. After an encounter with a doctor that took a lot of money from me

yesterday I have decided to do more of this on my own. I still will see my DAN

(he is honest and not the person that ripped me off) I feel like I get the best

advice from these boards compared to any MD so I am hoping that I can get advice

Thanks All !

OLE/lysine will tend to increase yeast, so first be sure you know what

controls yeast for your child.

Give OLE and lysine at least 2 hours apart.

I would start first with biotin, at low dose, like maybe 400mcg. It

does require magnesium for proper absorption.

I used capsules [containing powder] for everything except GSE.

I used HNI enzymes with much success. Certain foods required

supplements for digestion, not enzymes. For example, my son did not

tolerate fats until I gave him mito cocktail supps.

HNI will send you samples at no charge.
