I was on Lyrica for about a year. It was for the pain in my leg, It worked

wonders for me. They use it a lot for Diabetics and Nuropathy in their feet.

I took it 3xs a day and had no side effects.

My son has aspergers and he does the same thing. He has went from so bad that he just sits in his class and covers his ears without interacting at all to physically assaulting other kids to being completly normal. There have been days that professionals have said they see no sign of a disability at all and others where they have even suggested he may be developing shizophrenia. Professionals will tell you that they consistently stay bad at social issues if they have any form of autism but after listening to a lot of other parents I have found that to be wrong. Almost everyone I've spoken to says that they all have good days and bad days just like all of us. Your son is pretty young to be diagnosed though. I hope that your just erring on the side of caution and he won't really have it. Is there any other signifigant behaviors other than just being shy socially? My son bit his arms, walked on his tiptoes, played with his feces, made strange high pitch noises all of

the time, didnt like to be touched or held, destroyed his room and every toy he got, had an extreme fear of water, animals, and even some toys, and would be physically violent toward other kids among a lot of other things when he was that age. He is alot better now at age 7. He is on risperdal and concerta plus he gets counseling which helps alot. I know the dr won't do any of that for one as young as your litte one though. I pray that your baby ends up not having autism. It is a long hard road. But if he does I want you to know that some of those things will get better with the right doc, meds, and therapy. You and your son are in my prayers!!! KristiDo not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs that it may benefit those who listen. Ephesians 4:29

Hi Jeannine,

I'm sorry that I can't tell you what is causing this. What I CAN tell you is

that constant antibiotics can cause worse problems than a fever. It can disrupt

your intestinal system which can cause a number of other issues including leaky

gut and malabsorption. Since you have had no luck with the regular medical

system, I would highly recommend seeing a naturopathic doctor or herbalist.

They may just have the answer to your son's problem. Please keep us updated.

Best regards,

God Bless and have a great day!
