Guest guest
I'd love to know about Cysteine for skin tags as well. My husband has them and it appears my 8yo son is going to have them too, he just got his first one on his neck. Guest guest
Poly Cystic Ovarian Syndrome (sp?) can cause it. Which might say that it is affected by hormone levels. Being overweight can increase hormone levels. This is just a thought. Tama Mom to C-ACC age 10 and 3 more kiddos

If I don't take a little cysteine here and there, they come back, so apparently I am still a little deficient in cysteine. >>I have major skin tags. I assumed it was because I was overweight by about 40 pounds. Are there other causes for skin tags? Not that I know of. Do you drink milk? Cysteine is a component of milk, and if you don't drink milk, you can get deficient. Dana
Guest guest
Insulin resistance can cause skin tags, especially on the neck and underarm area. If you are overweight and cannot seem to lose an ounce no matter how hard you try, it may be insulin resistance. Insulin resistance can lead to diabetes. PCOS usually causes insulin resistance. > > Poly Cystic Ovarian Syndrome (sp?) can cause it. Which might say that it is > affected by hormone levels. Guest guest
Yes, Ever since my twin pregnany and giving birth, I have not been able to lose weight. Before that I was very thin. Could the pregnancy have effected my hormones to cause an insulin resistance? What do I do? Dana jlcorey68 wrote: > Insulin resistance can cause skin tags, especially on the neck and underarm area.
