I'd love to know about Cysteine for skin tags as well. My husband has them

and it appears my 8yo son is going to have them too, he just got his first

one on his neck.

Poly Cystic Ovarian Syndrome (sp?) can cause it. Which might say that it is

affected by hormone levels. Being overweight can increase hormone levels.

This is just a thought.

500mg per day. The tags were gone within about 2 months. If I don't take a

little cysteine here and there, they come back, so apparently I am still a

little deficient in cysteine.

Not that I know of. Do you drink milk? Cysteine is a component of milk, and if

you don't drink milk, you can get deficient.

Insulin resistance can cause skin tags, especially on the neck and underarm

area. If you are overweight and cannot seem to lose an ounce no matter how hard

you try, it may be insulin resistance. Insulin resistance can lead to diabetes.

PCOS usually causes insulin resistance.

Yes, Ever since my twin pregnany and giving birth, I have not been able to lose

weight. Before that I was very thin.

Could the pregnancy have effected my hormones to cause an insulin resistance?

What do I do?
