Guest guest
Hello All, Back in April of last year it was confirmed that my son had a pretty bad yeast overgrowth. Being lead by a MD we attempted to treat it with Diflucan, but had little success. We moved and as a result of the move we stopped giving our son him the Diflucan in early September. In late September my son caught a flu\cold that gave him a minor earache and against better judgement we followed another MD's advice and gave him a course of antibiotics. The results were pretty nasty, because the antiobiotics appeared to have triggered a yeast overgrowth which lead - to 2-3 hours of sleep per night with, with constant giggling, screaming, screeching squeeling and hyperactivity e.g. non stop jumping and running around during his waking hours. So bad was the hyperactivity that he developed a bad verbal tic. He was put on a very low dose of Tenex which makes him drowsy, but greatly reduced they hyperactivity and no sleep. After a long discussion, my Wife and I realized that we never really addressed the Yeast and realized that it is probably the source of his new behaviors. So we began him on program to naturally address the yeast. Well about a week into treatment (this week) all of the behavior discussed above returned with a vengance. Which in a way was really refreshing to see, because it clearly confirmed that a yeast overgrowth was the root of his problems. However, the problem now is how do we get him to go to sleep? Even with the Tenex he is back to averaging 2 hours of sleep with fits of loud screaming and squeeling throughout the night. My Wife and I are familiar with the treatment protocol for yeast e.g Probiotics, GSE, Caprilic Acid and the supporting enzymes like No-Fenol and Candidex. We have eased into treatment with simply one pill of everything, as opposed to the recommended dosages. Our challenge is trying to figure out how much Virustop to give our son to reduce the Hyper Activity. I remember reading on the forum that many had success with hi doseages of virustop, I believe somewhere in the range of 8-12 pills. Can anyone please confirm the doseage of Virustop that has helped to remove some of the nasty side effects of yeast die off? My Wife is concerned about giving him too much Virustop. Virustop being a enzyme I'm not sure that he could get too much of it? Thanks, Donnie
