My almost 3 yr old son has in the past couple of days started being very sneaky

and misbehaving. It is unlike him so I am a little worried. He is being

defiant, getting into things after being told " no " , throwing tantrums, has had a

lack of attention span, and is a lot more hyper than usual. Does this sound

like a yeast flare to anyone else here? We had to come off of Ketoconazole 2

weeks ago because of raised liver enzymes. We are retesting in 2 weeks to see if

they went down. He is taking 5 mg of biotin, enhansa, candex, and 200 billion

CFU's of custom probiotics@ night for yeast but I am not sure it is doing the

trick. Any suggestions on this sudden change of behavior and what I can do about

it? His teacher and therapists both mentioned it to me today and I agreed that

the past couple of days have been horrible! TIA

We went per the instructions and he has been at the 600 mg dose for a month now

so we have been giving it for 2 months. He is acting a lot more NT for sure.

His new favorite phrase is " No Mine " LOL> I am very glad to see some sneakiness

but it has gotten very bad and its not like him to be so defiant usually.

It does sound like yeast might be a possibility.

wow,are you giving 5gm of biotin? did you start at a low dose? did you see any

positives with it?

I just purchase enhansa, in another board I saw positives things on it, how much

are you giving? did you see anything from it?

I have the " defiant " (and saying no and repeating NO and resisting, etc)

thing going on in my house too. It happen to both my kids between 21/2 and 31/2

is a good sign - natural part of developement, tough I sure miss the very sweet

little time period...

therapist suggested several things, please email me off line if you would like

to know her feedback
