Guest guest
My mom bought some probio for my kids at the HFS. It says it doesn't have anything " bad " in it so I thought we'd give it a try. The first day I gave it to my 11month old she threw up. She then had a fever. All lasting a few days. I continued with the half capsule until about 4days ago. And she still is having very strange bowel movements. They are yellow with a green undertone and cottage cheesy with strings. My son stole her juice bottle about 4 days ago and it had her dose of the probo. Just a few hours later he began throwing up and fever lasting 4 days!!! He finally stopped throwing up but then had two bouts of really bad diarrhea, exploding. He now has that same kinda poop my daughter has, yellow...stringy. But all he had was that one dose and he's almost 3yrs old. He's done Diflucan, Kirkman's probio wafer and never seen anything like this with the poop or other symptoms. There really is something going around so its really hard for me to determine. I'm scared to give them this stuff again. But then I wonder well, maybe its die off and this stuff is working. The Kirkman's seemed to work too, it made his BM's firm and brown. But never with the strings. Maybe I should just stick with the Kirman's. But I never really meant to give him this other stuff to begin with. I'm soooo darn confused. Here is the link of the stuff we tried... http://www.probiotics.com/html/ProbioticProducts/wakunaga_products.htm Its says L. Acidophilus, B. Bifidum, and B. Longum. Other ingredinets: gelatin, potato starch, and silica. It also says its free of yeast, preservatives, sugar, sodium, milk, gluten, and anything artificial. However, we are soy free here too and it makes no mention of soy either way. That confuses me. Anyone have any suggestions?
