Thanks again!!

Ok, so...DANA YOU WERE RIGHT about the yeast!!!! Well, it seems, the

kirkman's multi were for sure a problem for him. BUT the Houstons AFP

work great but was still causing the red cheeks and I now believe

because the enzymes were bringing to light the yeast issue. He would

run threw the house having to hold his ears. Anyway, since finishing

the Diflucan the red cheeks have disappeared!!!!

BUT he is still obsessively chewing on his blankets. So, process of

elimination...the yeast is gone (I'm assuming because I finished the

Diflucan & red cheeks disappeared), but it could be food intolerance

like you suggested. Because since the Houston AFP worked so well I've

been slowly giving him some gluten containing foods here and there.

I'm wondering if I introduced this too quickly.

Should I wait a period of time before reintroducing GF foods when

starting AFP enzyme? If he's chewing like that then its probably not

good then...maybe I should lay off and stay off the foods???

Does anyone know what makes a child want to chew on certain objects so

obsessively anyway?

I was told chewing could be a sign of zinc deficiency too so we're going to

try to add zinc to our little guy's diet. somehow

Yeah, I started him on zinc last week...Kirkmans and its seems to have

stayed the same. Is it true that you need to be on a

vitamin/supplement for at least a month before they start working?

Probably. Time to replete the deficiency and then to get things out

He still might have a yeast issue. Try giving biotin.

You can try removing the gluten foods again, see if the chewing goes away.

Intolerance, yeast overgrowth, and zinc deficiency.

Chewing on things can mean zinc deficiency, or it can mean intolerance

or yeast overgrowth.

Some of the supps I have given, have produced results within 30 minutes.
