Guest guest
Im not sure on the absorption part, but do no it is used for acid indegestion, antifungal, antibacterial, antiviral etc(good stuff). So if it is working to kill off these tirants than the digestion/absorbtion would be better. I highly recommend cider for many, am leary when it comes to children this young. Im thinking 1/2 tsp once for the day(im thinking it isnt needed daily), be cautious in using to much it has been shown to cause suttle weight loss(young children dont really need this). Some use often on food, spinach, fish, fries, etc daily. For the most part it is harmless! Jennie<>< From: mywonderbaby <mywonderbaby@...> Subject: Apple Cider Vinegar for absorption Date: Thursday, December 4, 2008, 7:43 PM Hello, Does apple cider vinegar help with absorption during digestion? How much apple cider should I use for my 2 year old and should I give it with every meal or just once a day? Is it to be taken before or after a meal? Thanks, Maya

Yep, works great here. > How much apple cider should I use for my 2 year old and should I give > it with every meal or just once a day? Is it to be taken before or > after a meal? Give it before each meal. I have used both the liquid and capsules. The liquid is VERY strong, worse than GSE in my opinion. Liquid is supposed to work better, but capsules are much easier to get down. Dana

I use it for myself [it helps with body ph and a few other issues that I have]. I take 2 capsules with meals, altho I will try 3 today. For a 9yo, I would start with one. I buy mine at my local health food store. Dana
Guest guest
> Dana, > What does apple cider vinegar do for PH? From what I have read [and experienced], it raises stomach acid, which helps with better digestion/absorption, which will alkalinize the body. Guest guest
ok. Thanks. I understand the acid/alkaline connection is a big deal in preventing disease. D. I've seen it promoted as beneficial, yet vinegar, in general, is typically contraindicated with candida. Bob
Guest guest
I belong to Candidiasis group, and someone just left the group because she took ACV and her candida is under control. I thought that the acidity is bad for the body's pH, but helping foods digest to make the body alkaline does make a lot of sense. Maybe you can get a pH test kit and test your pH before and after. I bought pHion's test strips but haven't checked it yet. On Fri, Dec 12, 2008 at 3:45 PM, bobmorgan108 <rob29@...> wrote: > --- drissia wright <ritzywright@...> wrote: > > > > ok. Thanks. ACV and biotin have kept my yeast issue under control, even while I chelate myself and take anti-virals. Definitely does *not* increase yeast here.
