Guest guest
No ideas but Enjoy Life I think it was, has wheat free bagels in the frozen food section of our store. My son preferred my home made muffins so they don't work for us. You could also make him a wheat free donut, using a donut pan. He might think that was a bagel. I bought my set at Target a couple years ago. You bake the donuts btw. There is so many cross contamination issues I'm sure in a shop too. I guess you could call them and ask for the ingredients. You'd be amazed at the " crap " they put in ready made breads, cookies etc. My own home made bread is good for 2-3 days, same with cookies. Amazing how the store breads can stay good so long and you can buy cookies on the shelf that have a year expiration date. What is it doing to our body???????? Tammy An observation in my son Not sure if this is " something " but its worth noting. Had our DAN appt last Fri - did blood and stool testing this week, waiting on results. No good so far for the urine. Suspecting gluten and casein sensitivities, as well as some vitamin deficiencies, lots of yeast and malabsorption issues. We've loosely been introducing GF foods over the past 6 weeks and he has developed a liking for many - of course nothing with protein like the GF chicken nuggets (we found really good ones) and hot dogs. Anyway, i digress...... is a carb freak. He used to eat a bagel every day that the sitter brought him in the morning. He hasn't had a bagel in at least a week and yesterday he asked for one when my husband picked him up from pre-school so off they went to the bagel store. He ate 3/4 of a blueberry bagel and a half of a whole wheat later on. Today he has been NOTHING but angst and frustration. He is breaking down over the " little " things like he used to and my husband said to me earlier " Its like we've got the old Mikey back again. " Today he's totally incapable of asking for help and is throwing toys when they frustrate him. Oddly, if something in the bagel is bothering him, he's also had good quality whole grain bread in place of the bagel over the time he hasn't been eating bagels. Those didn't seem to " bother " him until this bagel issue. thoughts? Tina in NJ
Guest guest
Yes, all very true. We are just going to NOT allow it anymore! I also found out while chatting with my husband that also had a ring pop yesterday - he actually stole it from the bagel store and Dennis didn't know until they got home had worked the wrapper off and was eating it! So, I think we've found our culprit! -- In , " Tamara Kuhn " <tkuhn1@...> wrote: > > No ideas but Enjoy Life I think it was, has wheat free bagels in the frozen > food section of our store.
