Guest guest
I am not sure about the ginger tea...Do you use any homeopathics, we would use Veratrum album for diahhrea, works like a charm. What about chicken noodle soup, that is water based with the broth--that would add alot of hydration.... real fruit popsicles, smoothie milkshake no milk of course. Sno cone ice etc. That's what we do to make it thry=u here.... Guest guest
Sounds like he isn't absorbing liquid. I would try to get electrolytes into him before more liquid- more water without electrolytes can make dehydration worse. If you can get broth into him that would be great. -Sierra > > He doesn't like fruits :( >
Guest guest
coconut water is great! if his poops are that bad he is losing alot of electrolytes...I would syringe it into him.. Coconut water has lots of potassium in it..like bananas did you give him any new supplements? Magnesium is a natural laxative... > > My son has been having diarrhea for 2 days now at first it was just loose and now he's pooping water and seems to be very gassy. Guest guest
Our doctors have always recommended the BRAT diet (plus lots of hydration, of course). Bananas, Rice, Apples, & Toast. Obviously if you're on GF/CF you may need to go with a non-wheat variation on toast -- my daughter always loves toast with apple sauce on it. Lots of good rice options, though. Good luck! > > My son has been having diarrhea for 2 days now at first it was just loose and now he's pooping water and seems to be very gassy.
