Guest guest
Possibly the soy is bothering him. Why not try a different probiotic without soy. > > I've been using ThreeLac for my 11-year old son on and off for the past 6 weeks and I'm still not sure what to think. Since taking it, he has started walking flat-footed instead of on his toes for the first time in his whole life. The one thing I've noticed though is right after he takes it, he just starts making noises (mumbling noises - no specific words). Then a few hours later he seems more engaged and has been asking us lots of questions that he never did before. So we have seen positives and negatives, so I'm still not sure what to do. I'm also interested in what other people think about ThreeLac, positive or negative. > > Sharon > > -------------- Original message -------------- > From: " rathmanmom " <dani@...> > Who out there uses/used Three lac and what do you think? > Our DAN! wants to put our son on Diflucan and I may want a back up since I may not want > him on it for long term. > Dani > > > > >
Guest guest
From what I understand, if a probiotic is working there is usually some " side effects " in the beginning followed by impressive gains. My daughter was all gittery, clumsy and had a hard time falling asleep every time I increased her dose of probiotic (we use Dr. Natasha McBrides's Biocult)- and w/in a few days she started playing w/ other children - as in on a seesaw and interacting in a much more engaged way, talking on the phone with her grandparents, etc. etc. McCarthy talks about her experience, I think she used Threelac, in her book Louder than Words. So if you are seeing gains, I would stick w/ it. In , alshark@ wrote: > > > > I've been using ThreeLac for my 11-year old son on and off for the > past 6 weeks and I'm still not sure what to think. Guest guest
I think you might be experiencing the " healing regression " . I experience this with my son sometimes. If I start a new treatment I will see sensory changes, stimming, or hyperactivity (symptoms will vary) but I will simaltaneously see improvement in speech, engagement, and awareness. If you see this together it is a fairly good indicator that you are going through a die-off. My son also takes THreelac. Great stuff. You can give with food and probiotic and he never tastes it. > > > > > > I've been using ThreeLac for my 11-year old son on and off for > the > > past 6 weeks and I'm still not sure what to think.
