What would cause my son to lick everything?

My son has started in the past ten days licking everything: walls,

toys, chairs, people, etc. I have not changed anything with his

diet/supplements in a while. He is on nystatin so I guess it's not

yeast. His teachers have tried behavioral intervention, but no

success. I've never seen this before and don't know what to do about

it. What could cause it? He's not sick or been sick that I can tell.
