Guest guest
>Hi Could you tell us what is in the detox supplement? A sleep deprived EEG may well be worth considering as it may show up some abnormalities and may help you to decide what course of action to take next. As regards to your P.S. I feel exactly the same way. Best wishes Kenny > Hi Everyone, > > I took to the neuro and yes, he is now having seizures. Guest guest
My son started having them Feb 9 that I noticed adn we just had his sleep deprived EEG on Thurs, waiting for the results. Our Pediatric Neurologist said " normal " healthy children can start these absence seizures between 4 and 8 years old, and often times they only last 1-2 years and they are outgrown, so any medication needed would be short term. Another tip off would be ADD/ADHD type behavior that is recently starting or worsening--we had running evaluations done at both my son's preschools (they write down what he does and the time doing it) He did 36 things in 1 hour at one school and 28 things in 15 minutes at the other (which is worse than he was earlier in the year). No, he is normally not left to his own whim on what to do, they tested his ability (or lack of) to stay on task himself at one school, then I asked the other to do it as well so I had a better big picture. He is usually on a PECS based schedule in both schools so he can help regulate himself. Detoxing can cause mineral deficiency and yeast overgrowth, among other things, depending on the ingredients. You can remove the new supps, see if that helps. Guest guest
Sometimes when they are detoxing they can have brain fog which can cause them not to know the things they previously did. What is in the detox? Bacteria caused head slapping here. OLE helped. HTH, Started having seizures Hi Everyone, I took to the neuro and yes, he is now having seizures. His face slapping has gotten worse and he doesn't know his colors and shapes anymore, why? Is it a new supplement I started? Ever since I put him on a detox supplement he has been doing this but we also started him on liver support and hemp milk too. My poor little man. He is going to be six in June. How do I help him? Is there anything to help absent seizures? His behaviors are more aggressive too. If anyone can tell me why and how to support him through this time, please let me know. Thanks so much. P.S. The older I get the more emotional I am and finding it harder to deal with all this. Does anyone else feel this way?
Guest guest
Hi, I have read that doing a GFCF diet along with a yeast treatment helps with seizures. Most GF breads also have yeast and needs to be avoided or limited. A high quality mineral supplemet is very important with detox. Blessing to your family! Guest guest
~ there is research that neurofeedback can eliminate seizures and also help autism. I highly recommend you read A Symphony in the brain by Jim Robbins and join the AUTISM-nf group autism-nf/ for more info. I know several families who do neurofeedback at home for their autistic kids and are seeing huge changes. Hope this helps some, ~ > > Hi Everyone, > > I took to the neuro and yes, he is now having seizures. His > face slapping has gotten worse and he doesn't know his colors and > shapes anymore, why?
