good evening,

My son is 15 and has Aperger syndrome- about 6 months ago I started him on

Gabe 750mg per day. Within two weeks I saw amazing results. His anxiety was all

but gone. He can now go places in cars, engage with friends at new places. He has

become a social butterfly.

I am not sure what amount you would give a four tear old but I highly

recommend it.

Have a great evening

Subject: GABA, does it work?

Dear Listmates,

I have not been posting for a long time. My son was on baclofen which is a

drug, and a derivative of GABA. It worked very well to control some GI problems

my son has (what a horrendous drug...). He had very bad side effects on the

drug(lost eye contact). After I stopped the drug, thank God, the side effect was

gone.

He is 4 years old and weights 36 pounds. How much GABA could I give? what is the

best way to give it? is there any bad side effect from it?

the purpose of the GABA here would be to reduce muscle spasm in stomach at

night. Also, please share if you saw good results with it.Thank you. mom

GABA is a wonderful supplement in our house! I give my 7 year old (weighs 60

lbs.)500 mg in AM, 250 mg in mid day, 500 mg at bedtime. Very neuro-calming, but

haven't heard about it reducing muscle spasms in the stomach. I've been told

that you should start out low and give it till it causes drowsiness. Kirkman

sells a 250 mg capsule. Taurine is a good supplement for the GI; helps my sons'

digestion, and is also neuro-calming. Have you tried digestive enzymes?
