Sorry, I don't know what that is. >>On Dana's phenol info. it says to stay away from cider and cider vinegars (apple), wine vinegar (grapes). > The bottle says it has polyphenols. So probably not? This would mean it was high phenol. > My son has been on antibiotics recently and he has become very sensitive. I'm looking for a good list of phenolic foods. Antibiotics generally increase yeast, and yeast overgrowth can cause food intolerances. The ACV, while it is high phenol, will actually help reduce yeast. Try increasing the yeast protocol [with whatever you want to use], see if that helps. Dana
Guest guest
We did not tolerate kombucha here because it is high in yeast metabolites, which anyone with a yeast problem is already overtaxed with. Since yeast do produce phenol than I Kombucha must contain some. If your son has become sensitive after antibiotics, then I second the suggestion to work on yeast. Do you give a probiotic? High dose? -Sierra > > Is Kombucha tolerable with an individual that is reacting highly to phenols?
