Guest guest
My son has been gf/cf/sf for about 8 months. I'm intersted in expanding his diet, but when we tried enzymes (peptizyde and later lacto) he had diarrhea which caused immediaite diaper rash, and rash on legs/ belly. I discontinued and symtoms cleared. I would like to try again. Any recommendations on a different approach to start? I read that using Acid Soothe first and then a gentle enzyme may help. I was thinking of trying Digest this time. Also, has anyone had better luck with Glutenease than Peptizdye? Thanks, Maureen
Guest guest
My son couldn't tolerate something in the Digest. I can't remember what Alessandra said, but there is one enzyme in Digest that isn't in any of the other Enzymedica products. We've had great success with Digest Gold. Lacto is a VERY mild digestive formula even taken by infants. Digest is actually a lot more potent than Lacto. Bifidobacterium is in Digest and some children have trouble with it. I would recommend trying to give him 1/2 capsule of Lacto. But if you could answer my two questions that would help me out in helping you.
