C Tabs; however; my mum put me on a high vitamin C diet; of plenty of fruits; I did take vit. c though through out the years; Yes; the vit. C chewables is a very good dose 250 mgs. ; took me 10 days to stop my noselbeeds on Vit. C; I do not have the exact dosate I took: I would as your Doc. ps you could go up to 500 mgs. day; but only for 10 days'; then reduce dose to 250 mgs. daily or few times a week; keep me updated I would be interested in knowning if the Vit. C clears your son's nosebleeds as well for he as they did for me; this was 50 yrs. I had noselbeeds for about 4 months; and cleared the nosebleeds " for good " in 10 days of Vitmain C: I do recommend the vitmain K also; but this is given in extrmely low doses; and reduce the Zinc; and give fruti juice ago(ps I guess my doc was pretty smart !) " ps zince does deplet Copper) > > Hi Anne, > > Thanks so much for your reply, I had no idea Vit C could help the nose bleeds!! Do you still have to take the Vit C yourself? What strength dose should I ask DR about? My DS is 11 years old, but cant swallow pills. I have 250 mg chewable Vit C from Kirkmans here - is that a strong enough dose? I know Vit C helps w/ stool issues, so I dont want to go too strong of a dose to cause problems there. Thanks again for your help!! > > Robin >
