Please check out www.enzymestuff.com and www.danasview.com to start you on your enzyme journey. And ask questions here..this board is a lifesaver. Guest guest
Enzymes and supplements really help alot of children and adults. > > > > Hi, > > I just stumbled across the website looking up information > on " Thunder > > Snow " because of the recent snow we have had in Louisville, KY. Guest guest
I agree, my son has been taking Trienza for 2 weeks and already his behavior has improved tremendously. Making great eye contact, alert, responsive. --- maggie_orourke <maggie_orourke@...> wrote: > Enzymes and supplements really help alot of children > and adults. > > > > > > > > Hi, > > > I just stumbled across the website looking up > information > > on " Thunder > > > Snow " because of the recent snow we have had in > Louisville, KY. Guest guest
For two of our kids food eliminations + good probiotics + good fish oil + targeted enzymes used in theraputic dosing on empty stomach between meals helped us come a long way. It was all we did for a period of 10 months before staring the DAN protocal of antifungals and antivirals etc. We feel strongly that it is a critical first step. Other members kid + parent do well with targeted enzymes. visit www.enzymestuff.com Good luck.
Guest guest
I agree too. My 5 year old w/ PDD-NOS has made great strides on enzymes. His teachers, therapists and our friends and family have all seen a difference. My 3 year old, lazy nt son has begun speaking in full blown sentences and has become more outgoing...and my nt 8 year old has become more focused...an A student. So yes, I definitely think that it worth a shot. Good Luck. Carla Re: Re: Will enqymes REALLY help??? Guest guest
YES! My son has been taking Trienza for almost 3 weeks now and his attention in class is so much better that the teacher sent home a 'most improved student' letter!! I was amazed! I would definitely work on food intolerances and give enzymes. We are doing an IgG food allergy test this week (doing it alittle backward but that's the story of my life!) > > Hi, > I just stumbled across the website looking up information on " Thunder > Snow " because of the recent snow we have had in Louisville, KY. Guest guest
It depends on whether or not your child has an allergy or intollerance. My daughter does well eating wheat with enzymes, but dairy is a no go. We can have small amounts of fermented milk here and there.. (Yogurt & Kefir). but cheese and plain milk cause her to be up all night crying and complaining about stomach pains and popping ears... I have given her yogurt and kefir 10 minutes before bed w/o enzymes, and she has slept through the night... so, for us, those are the only milks we have... unless it is TRACE amounts... then, we do enzymes. W/o enzymes, wheat causes eye disturbance issues and MOODINESS. Enzymes do nothing for me, either... so, I would try them, and moniter issues with your kiddos to see. I could have SWORE my daughter's speech went down when we began giving her milk again, but my husband thought I was imagining things. It wasn't until she was able to speak and tell me how badly milk makes her feel, that I knew they were not working. She voluntarily avoids milk, and is pretty adamant about making sure foods she eats do not have milk. I would maybe take notes and do the ATEC test to see what happens before... then a month later, take it again to see if there have been changed, good or bad. You might also want to video record them for a more objective view, also. HTH Aubrey

Here is a page of recovery stories, you can read several options and make decisions for your kids http://www.danasview.net/recover.htm Dana
Guest guest
Hi Dana, Can you please explain ALA chelation? I read the ** Asperger Syndrome Recovery Story and saw that the two products that made a difference were Peptizyde and HN-Zyme Prime from Houston, which are combined in the Trienza. I'm interested in trying that with my husband (asperger's), but I just purchased the Total Nutrition Program from Natural Wellness Center. Can I give the TriEnza with the TNP? Would that be too many enzymes? Here are the ingredients from Trienza and the enzyme list from TNP: TWO (2) capsules of TriEnza contain: Peptidase with DPP IV..................50,000 HUT DPP IV.............................................1200 DPPU Protease 800...................................65,000 HUT Protease 6.0....................................25,000 HUT Amylase.........................................12,000 DU Glucoamylase.......................................25 AGU Alpha-galactosidase............................200 GalU Xylanase........................................16,000 XU Beta-glucanase......................................30 BGU Lactase..............................................1500 ALU Lipase..................................................200 FIP Enzyme list from Total Nutrition Program: (but, the total for the day will be 1.5 of these numbers) n.zimes PA-L - 100 PALU (150) NWC's Dual Enzyme Protease Blend - 26,000 HUT (39,000) amylase - 3000 DU (4500) glucoamylase - 10 AGU (15)_ protease 3.0 - 20 SAPU (30) invertase - 135 SU (202.5) Malt Diastase - 350 DP (525) alpha-galactosidase - 100 GalU (150) peptidase - 2500 HUT (3750) phytase - 7.5 FTU (11.25) pectinase - 6 endo-PGU (9) xylanase - 150 XU (225) cellulase - 175 CU (262.5) lactase - 200 ALU (300) lipase AN - 40 FCCLU (60) hemicellulase - 100 HCU (150) -
Guest guest
Hi Shoshanah, My experience with myself and my children is that if you treat the underlying biomedical issues with kids on the spectrum - which they all have, but they have different issues to varying degrees - their functioning and behaviors will dramatically improve. My son uses enzymes, dietary intervention, heavy metal chelation and supplements to replace what he's missing in his laboratory tests. My daughter uses enzymes, dietary intervention, yeast treatment, and different supplements than my son takes. I use enzymes, diet and supplements. We are all doing amazingly well and my daughter, who was PDD NOS, is in full inclusion with only mild remaining SID and CAPD issues, which are lessening all the time. We recently discovered a raw food restaurant that offers prepared weekly deals so we subscribed. There are a lot more nutrients and enzymes in that food and since my daughter has been eating it, I haven't seen ANY SID issues and her CAPD issues have become less intense. I really believe this is a biologically based disorder that, when treated, can significantly improve - at least, that's what I've seen here. ADD in particular is highly responsive to diet, and I've seen miraculous results in some people we know (including some adults) with just enzymes and taking artificial ingredients, sugar and wheat/dairy out of the diet. I've been doing biomedical interventions with my kids for seven years. Feel free to email me anytime at all for more information. Here are the ingredients from Trienza and the enzyme list from TNP: As a general rule [always subject to individual differences], it is rare to have " too many enzymes " .
