It might be die off, because yeast tends to migrate around the body before it leaves. Or, you might not tolerate the Candidase. Dana

Why wouldn't I tolerate the Candidase? I have trouble with proteases, but I thought that was just because the enzymes I have used in the past were fungal based. In any case, I just ordered Candex because it does not contain protease. Do you have any experience with Candex? UGH!!! I hate yeast with a passion!!!!! paula

If the yeast is in the GI tract, take magnesium. Increasing the dose of the anti-fungals will make it leave faster, but you also might have an increase of symptoms. Taking activated charcoal about 45 minutes after the anti-fungal can help with die off symptoms. > Why wouldn't I tolerate the Candidase? I think Candidase is fungal based also. > In any case, I just ordered Candex because it does not contain > protease. Do you have any experience with Candex? No, sorry. I have read many good stories tho, so it is a good one to try. Dana

I've read that Candidase is " stronger " because of the protease, and people seemed to have more side effects with it.
Guest guest
what does this stuff taste like? I have thrown so much away, becuase I cannot get it in my children---they have to be able to drink it or mix in food with no weird taste or texture..... Guest guest
My son is very picky about taste too, and Candex has a very mild flavor, almost sweet. It can be disguised in pretty much anything. Since it should be taken on an empty stomach I pour out 1/4 to 1/2 capsule onto a piece of folded paper and pour it into his mouth. But I would think anything that doesn't contain fiber would be OK. On Fri, Feb 20, 2009 at 10:17 AM, The Sweet Attack < thesweetattack@...> wrote: > what does this stuff taste like? Guest guest
well imo, it's good sign, you can take detox baths to help the release, it's called die off and in their wake .not to scare you , but metals and toxins are being released also and take something to make poop and keep peeing and the baths help the skin to release. hth, linda rn Rash from Candidase I tried Candidase last night, and that is all I took, and I woke up this morning with the worst burning sensation on my thighs,a very itchy rash all over my neck, and a lot of pressure in my pelvic area and rectal area. Could this be a good sign? I am so afraid it is just things getting worse again. This yeast business is a horrible one. I am so ready to retire!!! a
Guest guest
So it is specifically for yeast right? Where do you get it. And I don't understand the fiber containing " not use " .. Guest guest
I got mine at Vitamin Shoppe, but you can get it online like vitacost.com or iherb.com. It's cellulase enzyme that breaks down yeast's fiber cell wall. http://www.pureessencelabs.com/candex.html So if you give it with food containing fiber, the enzyme in Candex will get used up to digest that food's fiber instead of the yeast cell wall.
