Guest guest
Is there folonic in it? Some kids can't do it. Also if that is a problem alot of poeple are using Hydroxy B12 instead. Dilated eyes that seem to look though you in my house is a flare of some type but if you think it's tied to the B12 look into that for sure. > > I posted last week about some out of control behavior and have just one more piece to add. > > We've often commented that when he's like that " you can just see it in his eyes that he's irrational and crazy " Well it occurred to me yesterday (when we were having another big breakdown) that you really can see it in his eyes. They are dilated. And one almost seems to wander a bit, not really wander, but isn't teaming right with the other. > > The other piece is that it really is coming (at least three times in a row) on the 3rd day after a mB12 shot, right before we due for the next one. > > Is there something in the B12/folate cycle or methylation cycles that would effect the nervous system or neurotransmitters that would cause the dilated pupils and lack of cognitive function or control? > > We are actually getting neurotransmitters tested right now. Guest guest
Pardon me for interrupting, but how do you get neurotransmitters tested? Even when I took my son(years ago) to a neurologists, they didn't mention testing neurotransmitters, just gave him an SSRI which backfired. Â Thanks, D. Guest guest
Why don't you mention this timing association to your doctor and ask if you could try the MB-12 shots every other day, rather than every third day. > > The other piece is that it really is coming (at least three times in a row) on the 3rd day after a mB12 shot, right before we due for the next one. Guest guest
these pupils are reacting in concert, not just one pupil. I'd say he's in fight-or-flight mode and the adrenals and cortisol are putting him in a super high state of arousal. I have seen this. The neurofeedback will help, but the biochemical approach must be done simultaneously. I agree that trying the B12 shots every other day to " head off " the " Day 3 " behaviors should be the first approach. If that doesn't work, then consider that he has yeast overload if the more frequent methyl B12 implementation. However, the pattern of " third day " is intriguing ... and you are onto " something " with the way he methylates. You may find that daily shots are best, actually. I wish there was a transdermal patch that worked to provide a more regulated flow of methyl B12. > > I posted last week about some out of control behavior and have just one more piece to add. > > We've often commented that when he's like that " you can just see it in his eyes that he's irrational and crazy " Well it occurred to me yesterday (when we were having another big breakdown) that you really can see it in his eyes.
