No, not yet, but I do have some, and my son's daily multi contains a little

bit. I forgot to put it on the list. But biotin won't really kill yeast,

right? It just keeps it in check? I read briefly on how they work, but I

didn't quite understand it fully.

From an older post of Dana's that I had saved when researching:

>> WHAT IS BIOTIN AND HOW DO YOU KNOW IF YOU ARE DEFICIENT?

Biotin is manufactured by the good bacteria in the gut. Biotin

deficiency is one cause of yeast overgrowth, and it also causes issues

with skin, hair, and nails. Try adding some biotin, see if you notice

improvement. Give it with magnesium, because it requires magnesium

for proper absorption.

me: while I am still fairly new on yeast treating I am pretty sure that a

multi is not going to contain anywhere near to what you'd need of Biotin.

We started with 400mcg, went to 5000mcg and are now up to 10,000. I know

others have went up to 20mg 3x day.

Biotin is what the body uses to control yeast on its own. My son did

very well with biotin, I was eventually able to remove all other

anti-fungals.

We've developed a candida program at BrainChild, and the ones we like

best are

Candex

Biocidin

Pau D'Arco

Oregon Grape

We think it's fine to use Candex daily, but for a lot of people this in

itself is not enough to get candida down to manageable levels. We

suggest rotating several antifungals, such as the other 3 here, 4 days

each, to avoid letting the candida build up a resistance to them.

Candida is a highly adaptive organism. You can read our whole program

here:

http://www.brainchildnutritionals.com/Brainchild_Nux.html

scroll down to the yellow box where it says " Got Yeast? "

hope this is helpful,

Terri from BrainChild
