Guest guest
My son has been on diets (Gluten/casein free and SCD). Also, he has taken all kinds of enzymes. Nothing seems to work. He does have pretty bad GI issues. Re: EXCESSIVE HUNGER IN CHILD - SEEKING ADVICE My NT son did this and it was a sign that he wasn't digesting well. He improved a lot when we put him on the enzymes for his ASD brother, took away gluten and dairy, and took away other foods that he's sensitive to (We needed an IgG test to know which foods, since I would have never figured some of them out). This symptom is now a sure sign that he's eaten something he shouldn't have. This is true even though he never showed signs that seemed like food issues- poop was fine, no rashes or anything like that. His behavior has improved a lot now that we look back (much less intense, less clingy, sleeps better, etc). -Sierra > > My 5 year old has an excess hunger. Guest guest
Thanks, I am already giving him a detox parasite, even though the stool test doesn't show any sign of worms of parasites. I haven's notice any difference after one week of a homeopathic detox parasite. I probably need to wait 3 more weeks. Re: EXCESSIVE HUNGER IN CHILD - SEEKING ADVICE Notice it is estomeated one out of every 3 children has " worms sounds possible he may have internal parasites such as pin worms; I would take him to the Doctor and get his stool tested for " worms; question: Does he ever pull on his ears ? This is a known sign of an infestation of tape worm; worms are bad because they suck Vitamin B12 from the child's Vit. B12 and can cause a severe vitamin B12 deficiney I AM NOT SAYING YOUR SON HAS THIS: I am saying this is a possibility If u can; give him an emema or a laxative or Magnesuum to see if anything in stool; check his sheets for rice grains; they are eggs Give him Oatmeal cooked to clear out his intestines;Wormwood tea help. > > My 5 year old has an excess hunger. Guest guest
What about yeast or blood sugar levels? Have you checked nutrient status to see how well he's absorbing what he eats? -Sierra > > > My son has been on diets (Gluten/casein free and SCD). Also, he has taken all kinds of enzymes. Guest guest
Could be lack of fiber; I would add Fiber Tablets a.s.a.p; if he does have parasites; the fiber will clear these out better than homeopathic how often does your child go to the bathroom to do " number 2 ? There are certain Herbs which help this but are not homeopathics in a nut shell Homeopathics use herbs not approved for use; and this is unfortunate because most herbs are safe; but Homeopathic Herbs are not safe; : ( > > > > My 5 year old has an excess hunger. Guest guest
THIS IS THE EAY I WOULD VIEW THIS PROBLEM NO MATTER WHAT THE CAUSE " Increase Fiber Sources of Fiber; Apples; Cabbage (cooked); Shredded Wheat Minin's Fiber cleans the intestines out just like a bromm; safely Herbs added to the Fiber also clean like a broom so the answer is; first clean his intestines with FIBER TALBETS or Fiber powders mixed with water; MANY are on the market at pharmacy and " keep plenty of toilet paper the FIBER lierally cleanses the bowels and a lot of stuff may be expelled ALONG with parasites eggs. Forget the HOmeopathic this is not good effective and can be harmful.- -- In , " Anne " <anne_white53@...> wrote: > > Could be lack of fiber; I would add Fiber Tablets a.s.a.p; if he does > have parasites; the fiber will clear these out better than homeopathic > > how often does your child go to the bathroom to do " number 2 ? > > There are certain Herbs which help this but are not homeopathics > > in a nut shell > > Homeopathics use herbs not approved for use; and this is unfortunate > > because most herbs are safe; but Homeopathic Herbs are not safe; : ( > > > > > > > My 5 year old has an excess hunger. Guest guest
Dear Beth thanks for question Answer: only Homeopathic Herbs are harmful; why ? because 90% of Homepathics Herbs are from poisonous plants ! True Herbalist use only edible plants such as Spearmint; Rose Hips; Plantain; Red Clover Blossoms; Sassafras Bark; Mullein Speaking of Tree Bark; a Sassafras Teas would clear out " bugs Balck Walnut is good; but not in a homeopathic alcohol forumula I only use SAFE Herbs in capsules or in home made Teas; Hi Anne, Is it just homeopatic herbs or all the remedies not good effective and harmful? and why? just curious. Guest guest
Thanks Pam I appreciate the info; Low Glycemic Diet; increase complex carbs and protein Pam wrote: Subject: Re: EXCESSIVE HUNGER IN CHILD - SEEKING ADVICE Date: Sat, 26 Jul 2008 20:08:09 -0500 For my daughter, excess hunger was due to imbalances in her metabolic and endocrine systems. She was insulin resistant and hungry all the time. We put her on a low glycemic diet (always gave her protein whenever she ate any refined carbs.) Low sugar diet and increased her protein and complex carbs--reduced the refined carbs---and always the carbs combined with protein. She got her system into balance (and lost 30 pounds of excess weight too!) It keeps her energy up and her moods more stable. Hope this helps you in some way. Guest guest
You're welcome Anne. I didn't mention that we are also gluten and dairy free, in addition to the low glycemic diet. Guest guest
How can I determine if my son has imbalances in his metabolic and endocrine system?. I always think that his endocrine system is out of balance. Do I need to see an endocrinologist? Where can I find information about the low glycemic diet? Guest guest
Hello and excuse the tardy reply The Herbal Healer hompe page lists teh HOMEOPATHIC PARASITE DETOX; but does not list the ingredients; ataleast I could not find them; Do they have the ingredints listed on the bottle; are they in Latin ? At this point I would say: Do NOT use these Homoepathic drops on your son; but do consider buying Hulda' 's child's regular herbs; The Herbal Healer is another company; I only apporve Hulda e. If u can send me ingredients; Homeopathics uses very werid ingredients! (like one forumla uses whole honeybees; and other bugs ! I thought bugs were poisonous so my answer is : > > > > > > My 5 year old has an excess hunger. He gets feed 3 big meals > per > > day > > > plus 3 snacks in between meals.
