Guest guest
I have been giving my son Virastop, OLE, and lysine to improve Tourettes syndrome symptoms that I think may be caused by viruses. We are up to 12 Virastop (for about 3 weeks), 6 (50mg) OLE and 3(50mg) lysine per day. I am a little freaked out because at the start he had a plantar's wart on his foot. Now he is getting several more, as well as strange wart-like bumps on one finger. My basic feeling is that this is the viruses coming out, but if anyone has similar experience, I would really like to be reassured by it! Thanks everyone Lynn

My son developed plantars warts about one month after I started lysine, and they persisted [and increased] for 6 months before they disappeared. During this time, my son's language and social interaction improved, and many of his stims disappeared. Yes, the lysine is pulling out herpes virus, and plantars warts [and most other warts] are caused by variations of herpes virus. Watch for yeast overgrowth. The amount of yeast caused by the die off of herpes virus was incredible [and yeast overgrowth was the primary cause here of many tics].
