Guest guest
Has anyone seen this? For no apparent reason my son, who has had long term digestive issues, had a bowel movement with what looked like blood in it. Following that was 2 or 3 hours of diarrhea with no blood, but much mucous. Fine for about 24 hours. The same time next day, same thing but without blood. Ever sense, he seems to have intermittent pain in his gut. He doesn't seem really sick, just feels bad and hardly eats anything. He had antibodies this past year for gluten/gliaden but the gastroenterologist ruled out celiac. He has had a couple of endoscopies and colonoscopies and is always under the watch of this doctor. Before I put him back through this, I wanted to see if there could be a simpler reason I haven't thought of. He is taking Trienza, acidipholus, and TMG. Would any of this cause this type of reaction? What about gluten or casein? Would this cause a reaction so drastic. About a month ago, he took a round of antibiotics. Thanks for any input!
