Guest guest
Hi Listmates, I just got my son's CDSA stool test results which shows that he has very elevated levels of Lysozyme at 1490 (ref is =<600) and lactoferrin at 6.7 (ref is <7.3) and slgA at 490 which is also outside range. He was also positive for occult blood. Lately his stool has been loose and very yellow, and I notice he has been sleeping on his tummy for a couple of weeks. The results seem to indicate inflammation because a CDSA done just 1 month ago showed lysozyme at 150, lactoferrin at 0.9 and slgA at 18. I am not sure whether the inflammation is triggered by bacteria or food or something ingested. I have just started transfer factor shortly before the sample for stool test was collected and I don't know if the transfer factor could cause this kind of reaction. Can anyone help please? Many thanks Regards,
