Guest guest
Hi Rose, I took the following information from the book " Enzymes: What the Experts Know " by Tom Bohager p. 223-224. Parasites Any organism that spends a significant portion of its life in or on the loving tissue of a host organism, and which causes harm to the host without immediately killing it is a parasite. Parasites also commonly show highly specialized adaptations allowing them to exploit host resources. Some parasites cause minor symptoms while others can cause extensive disease. There are two kinds of parasites: endoparasites (those that live with their hosts) which include fungi (such as ringworm), and protozoa, (such as Giardia lamblia) and ectoparasites (those that live on but not within their hosts) which include ticks, fleas and lice. Viruses and disease-causing fungi, and bacteria are all considered parasites. The outer coating of all of these organisms is protein. After they have been targeted by the immune system as a foreign agent, then the proteases, along with the immune cells, begin to remove them. Enzyme Supplementation Suggestions: -High Potency Digestive Enzyme Formula with every meal. -High Protease Enzyme Formula three to four times daily on an empty stomach -pH Balancing Formula three times daily -Probiotic Formula daily Alessandra Enzymedica's Education Department Enzymedica.com > > Hi all > What are some of the symptoms that your kids had when they had parasite infections? What were some of the remedies? I would be very grateful for any replies. This is something we never really looked into. > > > Rose > > > > >
