Guest guest
Okay, I am going to post this to the group. My daughter has ketotic hypoglycemia, where her blood sugar drops very low at cyclical patterns, and when she is ill, it is a fight to keep level.... The last 2 days she has had a fever of 101-102 constantly. We do not use the tylenol, but prefer homeopathic options, which have kept her fairly stable, slight cough with no vomiting so far. But now she is complaining of right ear pain, and that side always gives much higher temp than the rest, and is now at 102.7. We received samples of virastop from allesandra on Saturday, and gave her a 1/2 capsule twice so far today, hoping our order will come today. I am thinking she may possibly have an ear infection--As a parent--what would you do? Do you just continue the Virastop with no tylenol that it would help the infection go away, and leave it at that? My concern is her dehydration and her sugar level, if she starts vomiting our decision is made since she will need to be admitted for Glucose drip to control the sugar, but as long as we can keep the sugar above 80 we will keep plugging away with drinks, and food bars to keep her stable. I was just wondering about the ear infection possibly and what you would suggest since this is our first time using Virastop? IF that is the right course.
