Guest guest
We do Houston Enzymes: AFP, Zyme Prime and No Fenol. Also sounds like your guy may be sensitive to colors and flavors, etc. Might be worth not only doing enzymes but cleaning his diet of all chemicals, salicylates, phenols, nitrates, nitrites, etc. Also soy can make some children very aggressive and out of control. My nt grandson bites like crazy when he gets soy. Need help now? http://www.talkaboutcuringautism.org/contact/real-help-now-live-chat.htm From: wonderwomanriendeau <nancyriendeau@...> Subject: Need help for ADHD son Date: Wednesday, December 15, 2010, 12:32 PM  Hello to all! I haven't posted on here for years, as my older son's Autism is well-managed now and he's doing great! We are however having a lot of difficulties with our youngers son, 5 years old, who is hyper, bouncing off my walls, destructive, and loud. Yelling and making constant loud noises. I think I am losing my hearing. He is a sweet boy, and is as frustrated with himself but can't seem to control it. I am looking into enzymes to see if it will help his sensory problems. This made an amazing difference with our older son? Any ideas are appreciated. Thanks,
Guest guest
oh my, sounds like our daughter 2 years ago at 5. Yeast, yeast, yeast is all I can say. We started her on Biotin 5000mcg daily, GSE, and worked with our DAN for fluconasole, to get the yeast issues under control. Took 3 weeks afer die off period to really see that things were changing, but thank the LORD, for the changes.....Yeast just makes the crazy and especially the 4 days leading up to and after full moon, they may be having some parasite issues as well, which is very common with the ADHD hper symptoms. Praying for you, for it is very difficult on everyone, the safety awareness, stranger danger, just not being able to go anywhere due to embarrassment and uncontrolable behavior. Been there many times and cried all the way home, hating myself for resenting my child's behavior. Many of us have been there, so take a deep breath, I am sure you will get alot of great answers on here. I sure did. God Bless, Merry Christmas. Guest guest
Thanks for all the kind responses and good advice. Luckily he is not aggressive, just hyper and loud all the time. Honestly, he's more difficult than my older Autistic son was - which seems crazy. I guess it helps knowing I'm not the only one going through this right now. I think it may be yeast, so I started No-phenol and GSE today and we'll see how it goes. I started and EFA supplement and probiotic and noticed no change. He did have pinworms, which we treated, but that did not affect his behavior either. The next step is probably feingold diet. I hate those diets. I really don't want to hassle with it, but I will do that before trying Ritalin or other medications. Thanks for your empathy, and have a wonderful Holiday 'R' > > oh my, sounds like our daughter 2 years ago at 5. Yeast, yeast, yeast is > all I can say. Guest guest
my daughter is gluten, dairy, and egg & dye free. had serious food allergie to last three, but has more of a definate hyper reaction to dairy, dyes and flavorings.... I know, the diet is a pain, but it made such a difference in her sleep. ONe thing we did notcie that was a biggie with my daughter was phenols. Yes we take no-phenol too. But apples and apples juice was the worst--OMG, she is nasty, beligerant, and such horrible back talk when she has apple juice. She cannot focus, is real fast moving, and her volume of talking goes thru the roof. WE do not buy the juice ever anymore, we could seea definate change in her giving it too her within and hour, she would go from nice and talkative. to grabby, screaming back, hitting me or my son, and all the no phenol in the world would help. WE didn't notice much of a change with EFA either but we do use Culturelle DAiry free probiotics at night. If no one told you, be sure to use your probiotics and yeast killers on an empty stomach. Otherwise, they are just killing the yeast surrounding the foods they are eating. So we do a huge amount at bedtime, and biotin during the day either 1 hours before, or 2 hours after meals....hope that helps. Most sensory issues at my house were caused by yeast overgrowth. http://www.danasview.net/yeast.htm Dana
