Hello Group,

I have been part of the Alias for just a few months. My son has a diagnosis of

PDD\Autism and we have been getting great results from Enzymes after just a few

months of use. I wanted to share something that is working for my family, with

the parents that are trying to reduce the use of Antibiotics.

One solution to your problem is to find a competent practioner of Traditional

Chinese Medicine (TCM). TCM as it is more commonly known, is a proven medical

tradition that is well over 2,000 years old and its been used to successfully

treat billions of people. I can tell the alias from my own personal experience

that is absolutely phenomenal for treating infections and viruses without the

negative side effects of antibiotics.

Here is my story, my son with Autism had a 104 fever that could not be

controlled with Tylenol or Motrin, we took him to the Dr. and tried everything

to bring it down including Antibiotics. We were on the verge of having to admit

him to the hospital when we decided to try the TCM. To make a long story short

it got rid of his fever and flu in less than a day, and he was 100% in 2 days of

taking the formula. The other 3 children in the house caught the same flu and

using the Chinese Herbal Remedys we were able to get the same exact results -

full recovery in 2 days. Thank God! no stay in the hospital was required.

While TCM works very effectively their are some major challenges

a) Some of the herbal formulas for the children can taste pretty bad - and some

times its challenging to get the kids to take them. In the story above we had to

resort to nose holding to get the kids to take the herbal formulas.

B) There are some general formulas, but in order to use them you must understand

the symptoms from a TCM perspective, and in many cases the formulas must be

modified specifically for the child. This means you MUST see a competent TCM

practioner to prescribe for you in order to get the best results.

c) You have to find a competent TCM practioner who knows Chinese Herbology.

There are many practioners who only do Acupuncture, but they can refer you to a

Herbalist. Now finding someone will not be too challenging if you live in

someplace like Devner Colorado or some major metropolitan area on the East or

West Coast, but it will be more challenging if you do not.

TCM is not limited to Chinese Herbs it also includes Acupuncture and special

form of massage called Tui-Na that may be used in conjunction with the Chinese

Herbs or by themselves. When looking for a practioner you need to ask if they

are a Herbalist. Chinese herbs are usually the standard approach for pediatrics

in Chinese Medicine. While Acupuncture is a very fast and effective modality of

TCM, it may not be suitable for some children because of the effort required to

administer the acupuncture needles. Tui-Na in conjunction with Chinese Herbs is

a great combination, if you have the patience and time to do learn how to

continue the massage at home. Case and point one of my sons loves Tui-Na, but my

son with Autism is not too fond of it, so the use Tui Na like Acupuncture will

be dependent on the child.

I hope that my families experience will be able to help some one else out

there. BTW I just want to personally thank DeFelice and all the parents

who participate in the e-mail discussion group. You have proven two things our

MD's are intelligent people who really want to keep us healthy but they do not

have all the answers, and that healing ourselves and our loved ones requires

that we play an active role in the process.

I wish everyone on the Alias blessings and the best of luck in helping our

children to heal.

I have also found chinese herbs to be helpful. Our chiropractor works

with a practitioner who started my son on some herbs over a year ago.

They have calmed his system down very much. I also started taking a

PMS herb and another for depression and its been amazing. I put off

working on my own problems but it was finally time to get myself into

shape.

I used to have a really bad period with lots of hormonal problems and

it really affected my life to be not myself for a week. The chinese

herbs have made it reduced the overall effects by more than half. I

also feel more positive and more capable. I want my husband to start

some too. They seem to really help with the deeper problems instead

of the symptoms.

Just sharing my experience as well if anyone wants to try TCM.
